VKorsovski wrote: Are you sure f1 is Mosaic I thought it was PHI I think so, unless I misnamed it. But I also have C4 as the cow print pattern so maybe it changes per session? I'm stumped trying to guess answers to these. For the extinction one, I tried to enter what's underneath the female pic: 2100-2120, the binary version: 0000-1111, and 101010000-101011111. It responds to "jump", "no", "yes", wonder what else?

 Re: Cube Console
Hi all..
I was working on the Phi puzzle. Each row in the picture has an extra digit that is not in the actual number. I haven't figure out what the extra numbers mean yet, but I thought I would get it up here for people to check my work and maybe make some progress on. I have to go, but I'll work on the numbers more later if no one solves it in the mean time.

 Re: Cube Console
Typing random stuff, I got some responses:
Input: cube / system Output: CUBE ^3 (c)2169 - the builders
So is that the year 2169? Or is this is a different number base?
Input: builders Output: we are the builders
Input: year / time/ date Output: only you know the current year/time/date.
Input: open Output: only open pages can be solved
Input: error Output: error is an error
Input: speak Output: we are unable to speak. help us.
Input: hello Output: hello sailor

 Re: Cube Console
Seems like we should be trying to find out who the builders are.

 Re: Cube Console
2169 brings up its roman numerals. Otherwise, I tried through several numbers to see if it brought up anything, which it did not.

 Re: Cube Console
For MOSAIC [F3 for me], if you look at the individual tiles, connecting the multi-colored tiles (ones with two colors in the same tile) spells out "PICASO" (sic.)
However, entering that into the solve box doesn't seem to work. Maybe a second set of eyes will catch a letter I missed / got wrong or make an intuitive leap in the right direction?
Also: typing "Hello XXXXX" will return the same text in the next line.

I searched through his paintings and that mosaic matches his painting Three Musicians. Type that in and it's the answer! Yippe we got one. Also I notice if you type top, or solvers, you get names of users who solved stuff I guess.

 Re: Cube Console
Thanks, jabroni -- good catch!
Solving one opens up an additional puzzle, changing the O to an X on the solved one.

 Re: Cube Console
BASE 9: Ok, here's the thing. We're all getting different grid locations for the pictures, it seems to be random for us. My B1 is not the same as your B1. But, our pictures are the same. So, I got this one first. I played around a bit and noticed a few things. First, we're not dealing with the idea of adding the dice in their groups (so it's not (1+2=)3, 2...). I know this because if it were like that, we would have no way of telling the difference between a 1+2=3 dice and a 3 die. That said, they stand for numbers. So a 1+2 is just that, 12. Looking it over, we have 23 numbers total. I ran a brief frequency analysis on them which seems to not help me much. Here's what I got. 01 - (5), 1 - (2), 2 - (5), 3 - (4), 4 - (5), 5 - (5), 8 - (2), 11 - (1), 12 - (3), 21 - (1), 22 - (4), 31 - (1), 32 - (3), 41 - (6), 42 - (2), 51 - (1), 52 - (2), 61 - (1), 62 - (4), 71 - (4), 72 - (3), 81 - (3), 82 - (2) I also took a look at the cards around the outside, but it seems to just be a full deck of playing cards, including two jokers. ORBITS For this one I went ahead and classified each of the circles in the picture according to their increase in size. Since the braille is 'Seek the Orbits' it's either talking about having minty fresh breath or it has something to do with those circles. With 0 being the smallest, empty circle and 5 being the big one that doesn't have solid edges like the others, I also color coded them in case we need to connect the dots or something, which I have a hunch about. As it stands, this is what we have in size(# of them) format: 0 (1), 1 (6), 2 (11), 3 (6), 4 (4), 5 (1) Edit: I tried thinking about orbits... like electrons or something. Since there are 29 circles total, I tried Nickel, Cobolt and Copper, as well as Ni, Co and Cu. No avail. I'm burnt. G'night. MOSAIC Well, that one is taken care of already. =)

 Re: Cube Console
I keep logging in with different names, and even though I get different spots on the grid, I keep getting the exact same three pictures. Am I missing something here? I did it like 6 times in a row, and I keep only getting the spotted shark, the orbits, and the base 9 files.
Anyway, I was looking more at the PHI file, and if you look at the locations of the extra numbers, they seem to form a helix. Phi is connected with DNA, so I think the solution might have something to do with that. But since I can't seem to access that picture, I can't try to solve it.
