I ran to the post office during lunch today. Usually the box is empty – we’re new and not many people know about us yet – but today it had a key for a package. Needless to say, I’m a little floored by the contents. I’m not sure what to think. The return address was so scribbled I couldn’t make out who it was from and the handwriting on the outside didn’t match the letter inside.
I wish Bertram were here. He’d distract me with some random theory about the sky falling or something. As it stands, this is getting a little scary.
That second cube looked heavily damaged or corroded – maybe it spent some time buried, or in a river or the ocean or something.
See if you can connect it to the Mac, and it might be different – or maybe it could interface with the first cube (Cube Prime?
) somehow.
Perhaps it might even be a different version that has networking capabilities, if there are any different versions.
It is corroded, but not all the way through. I’ve promised phyrehawk some pictures as soon as as I get a chance to take them. Just trying to catch up with the day now.
I’ll definitely try to hook it up the way we did the other and see if it does anything. At this point, why not, right?
I hadn’t considered trying to hook this one to “Cube Prime” (love that name, by the way) but it’s worth a shot. I’ll keep you posted on what I find, as always.
